Mr Tjioe noted that the latest findings mirrored what TungLok is seeing at its restaurants – that customers have become more appreciative of good service amid the manpower crunch. Other restaurant chains such as RE&S and Sushi Tei, also highlighted the importance of providing good service. The CSISG, which is currently in its ninth year, is a quarterly survey conducted by the Institute of Service Excellence at SMU (ISES).
