Please share your belief(s) in the subject matter(s) you are facilitating in a few sentences.

As we move to a world where increasing amounts of routine work will be performed by Artifical Intelligence (AI), more human topics like communication and negotiation become the place where any individual can create and add value. The world that we are headed toward demands that we invest substantially more in the soft skills and learn to use them masterfully.

What inspires you to do what you do now?

I am constantly pursuing new developments or insights that offer an opportunity to do something better. Neuroscience today is a great example. So much of what we have to date assumed to be true about how the brain functions is now being rewritten. What motivates me is the opportunity to grab these new insights and figure out how to apply them to persuasion, negotiation or learning. That new opportunity always gets me out of bed and moving.

Please share a memorable experience/ takeaways you have had from our workshops

This past year I have been amazed at how smoothly, and how effectively, course have moved online. Participants warmed up to digital workspaces like Mural very quickly. All of a sudden we were having fun online and that is a happy memory. I also learned that some things can actually be done better online than in the classroom. It was a real eye opener.

If you are not a facilitator, you will be…..

I would move completely into neuroscience. I would love finding ways to help people invest in their brain, live longer, recover from trauma more effectively, and even help people learn better and faster. These is so much potential in all these discoveries!
