"Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas!"

It is the time of the year to reconnect with family, friends and team members. It is thus a festival filled with happiness, love and friendship and well celebrated around the world. We in UNiCEN also celebrated the Christmas with great fervor, enthusiasm, joy and teamwork through decorating the office, carolling, exchange of gift and feasting.

The UNiCEN team were grouped into 3 teams. Each team was given about 2 weeks to use their creativity to decorate a panel of the glass windows with recycled materials only. Although the teams had gone through hair pulling moments during the preparation stage, the process had brought lots of fun and sweet memories to all and also fostered team spirit.

We started our celebration on 22 Dec 2016 with each team elaborating the themes and materials used in building their decoration and sharing of some Christmas traditions evolving Christmas Goodies (Food) and "How Christmas is being celebrated around the world". The UNiCEN directors had a hard time determining the winner given the quality of the decorations. In the end, Team 2 won the competition and walked away with $100 shopping vouchers. The other 2 teams were also rewarded with shopping vouchers. Special thanks to the UNiCEN directors for sponsoring the shopping vouchers.

Christmas celebration will be incomplete without gift exchange which has become a Christmas tradition. The team exchanged gifts bought according to the recipient's wish list.

Before adjourning for dinner at Jumbo Seafood, the team had a go at Christmas carols, which was fun, with off-key and booming (guess who!) voices singing in harmony. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2017 to all!
