Mr Ronald Tan

Ronald Tan is the principal responsible for the marketing & business development of attracting Real Estate listings in particular REITs across global markets for Singapore Exchange (SGX) for the last 14 years, where it is now the largest Global REIT hub in Asia. He leads a team that covers the Consumer & Services sector as well as the listing of Infrastructure Business Trusts. He also has geographical responsibility for Thailand and Myanmar currently, and over his tenure had cover Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan & Middle East previously. He joined SGX in May 2006. Prior to joining SGX his career included positions with SingTel & IE Singapore. He started his working career as a full time pastor in one of the largest church in Singapore. Mr Tan graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration Honours (Second Upper) degree from the National University of Singapore in 1997.

Ms Loke Yin Mei

Yin Mei is a Partner at Allen & Overy. Her practice includes advising on capital raising, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and investment funds. She has acted on some of the largest and most complex public equity, debt and hybrid fund raising, takeovers, M&A and privatisation transactions. She regularly advises sponsors and fund managers in the establishment and syndication of private funds. Yin Mei sits on the boards of the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore (ACRA). She presently chairs the Corporate Law Advisory Panel at ACRA and is also a member of the Compliance Committee (Continuing Professional Development) of the Singapore Institute of Legal Education. Previously, Yin Mei was appointed by ACRA to the Companies Act Working Group which completed its review of the Singapore Companies Act in 2019. Yin Mei graduated with an LLB (Honours) degree from the National University of Singapore and also holds an LLM degree from the University of Cambridge.

Indran has been with UBS since 2010 and is the Head of UBS’ Consumer, Healthcare and Real Estate franchise in South East Asia. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector with extensive experience in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, debt and strategic advisory transactions. Prior to joining UBS, Indran was with DBS Bank, primarily focused on the REIT space, and Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad, focused on advising the group on domestic and regional acquisition strategies. Indran graduated with a BA(Hons) in Economics from the University of Nottingham.

Melvyn is Deputy Dean and Professor of Finance at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University. An expert on hedge funds, Melvyn has published in all the leading finance journals including the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, and the Review of Financial Studies. His work has garnered several awards, including the Jack Treynor Prize by the Q Group, and has been cited by Bloomberg, CNBC, The Economist, and The Wall Street Journal. Melvyn received a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Cornell University and a PhD in Economics from Harvard University.
