The SMU Overseas Centre Jakarta celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March with a Forum on “SMU Women on the Forefront of Sustainability”. Prof Sun Sun Lim started the conversation with a video address touching on the critical importance women play within ASEAN and why it is important to empower them with digital financial skills.
Prof Mandy Tham gave an insightful presentation on how business families can sustain and grow their wealth beyond three generations.
A number of distinguished SMU alumni who are now in leadership positions in startups, institutions of higher learning and family businesses also shared their inspirational journeys about overcoming challenges they encountered.
SMU Overseas Centre was proud to host so many inspirational women and to celebrate their achievements this way.
