Arif P. Rachmat oversees a private holding company with significant investments in various publiclylisted companies including ADRO, ADMR energy groups, TAPG, DSNG, KMTR agriculture groups, ASSA mobility, logistic groups including Anteraja and Autopedia (ASLC), DRMA autoparts manufacturing, JV STT Data Centre, ESSA Ammonia, LNG, as well as privately owned companies such as Daya automotive group and Family Office.
Mr Rachmat holds leadership roles as the Vice Chairman of Asia Business Council (ABC), SMU IAC in Indonesia, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) and Indonesia Business Association (APINDO) for Agriculture. He serves as ASEAN-BAC 2023 Food Security Leader, 2022 B20 Chair for Trade & Investment and 2023 B20 Co-Chair for Global Value Chain as well as Chair for Endeavor Indonesia in Dec 2020-June2024. He is an active member of the Board of Trustee of Singapore Management University (SMU), Indonesia Business Council (IBC), Prasetiya Mulya University, The Nature Conservancy Indonesia (YKAN), and the Partnership for Indonesia’s Sustainable Agriculture (PISAgro). In addition, he is a Board of Advisor in Asia Partners and Growtheum Private Equities.
In philanthropy and stewardship, he serves as Chairman of the GK Indonesia Foundation and Executive Board member of Temasek Foundation Health & Education. He is a member of the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum as well as Young President Organization (YPO). Mr. Rachmat graduated cum laude with Master’s and B.S. degrees in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Upon graduation, he worked for General Electric Company in the U.S. and globally in various leadership roles including Six Sigma and Corporate Audit Staff.
