The past few years have been challenging due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I am very appreciative of how you have all stayed focused, agile and resilient as One SMU and continued to work well to contribute towards achieving the University’s Vision.
In my State of the University Address this year, I would like to give you a progress update on the various plans and initiatives across our three strategic priorities, and to celebrate our achievements made over the past year with you.
In looking ahead, I would like to share with you the directions, priorities, plans and goals that will enhance our University’s growth and reputation in education, research and as an engaged city university. In particular, I would like to share SMU’s sustainability blueprint, which outlines ways in which we can all work together to make a positive impact.
Please mark 9 September on your calendar and join me in SMU Hall where I will deliver my State of the University Address, as well as launch an exhibition on our Sustainability Journey.
I look forward to seeing all of you there.
Thank you.
Warmest regards
