Overview

International students play an important role in contributing to the multi-cultural character of SMU. This diverse university population contributes significantly to cross-cultural understanding and allows for a deeper awareness of world issues.

The Office of Global Learning annually plans a series of social and recreational programmes to engage our international students. These activities provide opportunities for integration with the university community and are aimed at enhancing the student experience.

Our Orientation Programmes are packed with exciting activities to help you accomplish a smooth transition into university life. We encourage you to participate in all our orientation events and to make the most of your stay here at SMU.

You will be happy to know that all these programmes, brought to you by the Office of Global Learning, are complimentary.
