SISCMULiving Analytics is a new joint research initiative between Singapore Management University (SMU) and Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) to conduct research on behavioural and social network analytics and behavioural experiments so as to discover and harness the laws of information network evolution for networks of people, organisations and businesses. Given its interdisciplinary nature, LARC involves faculty and students across the various academic units of SMU and CMU. Learn more about the faculty participating in LARC. The lead academic units coordinating the LARC partnership are the School of Information Systems at SMU and the Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon.

Appointment as Editor-in-Chief of the Annals of Applied Statistics
Annals of Applied StatisticsProfessor Stephen FIENBERG, Co-Director of LARC and Maurice Falk University Professor of Statistics and Social Science at Carnegie Mellon University, was appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Annals of Applied Statistics. The journal is published quarterly by the Institute for Mathematical Statistics and it aims to provide a timely and unified forum for all areas of applied statistics. Professor FIENBERG’s appointment is for a period of 3 years and it commenced on 1 January 2013.
