About Us
The Office of Career Services (OCS) serves as the principal point of contact for employers who wish to recruit SMU interns and graduates.
We also provide students with the whole preparatory process through internship programme and a host of other services so they can make informed choices and maximize their employment opportunities / groomed to be a good fit into the hiring organisations.
The Dato’ Kho Hui Meng Career Centre (DKHMCC)
The Dato’ Kho Hui Meng Career Centre, launched on 18 Sep 2012, is named in recognition as part of a generous gift from Dato’ Kho Hui Meng, President of Vitol Asia Ptd Ltd. It is a fully-renovated, state-of-the-art facility offering a range of comprehensive services, programmes and resources for SMU students to chart their career directions and empower them with the necessary skills to realize their potential and goals. Situated in SMU’s Administration Building, the Centre which simulates a corporate business office environment is ideal for employers to connect with students.
The Centre has a walk-in wardrobe for business and corporate wear to be rendered to students who urgently require business wear at a short notice to look their sharpest when attending career events and workshops. It also houses five interview rooms used for employer-student interview sessions**, interview video stream or four-way Skype simulating different overseas locations.
**Interview room facilities are available for employers’ use upon request.
